This often happens when fuel is left in your snowblower for a long period of time, such as over summer. Whether you did or didn’t leave gas in it, replace the gas with a fresh fill. Then, add a fuel stabilizer like Seafoam or Sta-Bil. Make sure to follow the instructions closely, although you can add a little extra for cleaning purposes.
