Extended exergy analysis
WebExergy analysis has been widely used in the design, simulation and performance evaluation of energy systems. The present study comprehensively reviews exergetic analysis and performance evaluation of a wide range of renewable energy resources (RERs) for the first time to the best of the author's knowledge. WebIn this method, extended-exergy (EE) values are assigned to labor and capital fluxes in addition to thermomechanical and chemical exergy values. The interchange of resources and products was quantified in terms of energy and exergy between seven sectors of the society and between the sectors and other countries.

In our calculations, exergy conversion capacity was taken as the ratio between the output product value and the input E m / E L / E c / E env flows. The economic product and exergy consumption values of industrial clusters in HADZ are shown in Fig. 3.
WebExtended exergy, which builds a bridge between thermal and anthropic dimensions, can both measure resource consumption and economic system. In this study, we applied extended exergy analysis to analyze an industrial park, including material consumption, social investment, and environmental influence. WebJan 9, 2013 · In this review, thermodynamic analyses have been summarized under these methodologies: (i) second law analysis, (ii) exergy analysis, (iii) pinch analysis, (iv) equipartition principle, (v) Gibbs free energy minimization, (vi) thermoeconomics, (vii) exergoeconomics, and (viii) extended exergy analysis.
